This is a hard thing for many to understand and I have questioned this why myself many times through the years; as it seems that a fair God, in his infinite wisdom, would not allow bad things to happen to good people and vise versa.

Although bad things do not always come to bad people that we are aware of and sometimes it seems like good people are affected by bad things, (for example, the recent plane crash in Washington DC where children and some families all died or when innocent children get cancer or are abused). In the long run the bad people will get their judgement. We do not always know or understand God's reasons and perhaps we are not meant to.

7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him;

Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.

8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath;

Do not fret—it only causes harm.

9 For evildoers shall be cut off;

But those who wait on the LORD,

They shall inherit the earth.

Peter, this was a stunning presentation on, about, the why, the way, and the answer on anger.

Thank you!

Yes. “…for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God” - James 1:20

There is a theory (no way to prove it, of course, at this time) that God vibrates on the highest frequency possible, the frequency of pure Love. We all know how bad it feels to be angry, embittered, resentful, and other negative emotions. We all know how wonderful it feels to be in love, to be hopeful, and other positive emotions. So the idea is to consciously turn your thoughts away from angry thoughts, and “think positively “, “feel love” (often easier said than done). This puts us closer to the ‘frequency’ (however that works) of God’s frequency of pure Love. The goal is to be a little bit closer to God, and like God, in our thoughts and feelings.

Bless you always, Peter, for your wise insights and writings.
