We can and will disagree with people. We can and must continue to love them as we love ourselves. If we do not do this, we are not loving God at all, let alone with all our heart, all our soul, and all our mind.
Always link your proverbs every Sunday as I find no problem with the messages, they are usually excellent. However, the image you have today bothers me a bit as it appears to show Jesus with effeminate features and almost what looks like a hair braid. Not sure I would choose to show the Lord this way as it could be interpreted to show Jesus leaning towards homosexuality which in the Bible is wrong and forbidden, even though we must love everyone. I may be reading too much into the image, just saying, as it caught my eye immediately.
Figured it was probably AI generated. Have never used it. Although you put in the prompt, it's kind of scary that AI can portray things how it wants. No way was this intended to reflect on your beliefs. So I hope you didn't take it wrong.
Paul is saying Christians need to handle problems between Christians. Jesus is saying , you’re no better than anyone else because we all sin, so don’t be a hypocrite. I think Paul is difficult to understand because he uses words in a different way than most people. He was probably a genius. I prefer to read Jesus or Peter and all the gospels, but obviously Paul’s writings are important.
Another superbly reasoned and well-stated gem, Peter - you are a treasure! This is an issue that probably all Christians struggle with, and frequently get wrong. Hate the sin, love the sinner!
We have a serious cultural problem today in so many, many respects. People don’t have the moral grounding or training in rational thought necessary to make good choices and seek personal excellence. For me, the biggest frustration is that corporate media endlessly and deliberately spews misinformation - “facts” that are demonstrably NOT factual! No wonder so many people feel lost and confused. This is going to be a slow, painful societal reckoning for us all. Thank you, once again, Peter, for your brave efforts to tell the truth and give people some guidance. I truly think you’re Magnificent!

The images are always courtesy of Substack's AI image generator. The prompt was to portray Jesus ministering to the woman caught in adultery.

I took it as how you saw the image, neither more nor less.

If we follow God's Law, Man's laws are superfluous.
If we reject God's Law, Man's laws are irrelevant.
That is always the challenge: are we following God's Law? Are we doing His Will, or vainly trying to do our own?
⏳⛲🔔 Thank you Pete,
Grace and peace to you.

We must all ask ourselves the question God asked of Jonah: “Do you do well to be angry?”
If we are honest with ourselves, the answer must surely be “No.”
Yet we are angry, and it is rarely easy to let go of that anger.

I know I struggle with maintaining the proper perspective and differentiating between the sinner and their sin.
I am far from perfect. I make mistakes. I know that I make mistakes.
I know that other people make mistakes, and I understand that none of us are perfect.
What I cannot abide, however, is the seeming indifference of many to their mistakes. What I cannot grasp is when people simply do not seem to care.
Why do so many not see that we are called to excellence? We all make mistakes, but surely we can all strive to rise above those mistakes.
We can all do better, and yet it seems that so many do not even try.
Where that falls with regards to judging others and judging their actions I honestly cannot say.

High praise indeed. Thank you.
