Wow, you’ve eloquently captured the gravity of false witness and its far-reaching impact on both the individual and society.

Honesty is indeed the bedrock of any healthy relationship, be it personal, professional, or social. When we compromise on honesty, we compromise on the very essence of trust and integrity. While small falsehoods may seem insignificant, they can ultimately erode the foundations of our relationships and lead to mistrust and miscommunication.

Bearing truthful witness is thus a fundamental aspect of our moral responsibility.

And you see why you are adored, Peter? One of many reasons is that you daily adhere to the Truth. You stay factual, while others rant and get caught up in their hatred. You print the facts, even when people don’t want to hear them. You steer us back to reason and evidence.

We are now entering an era of artificial intelligence reigning on the internet. It will become so difficult to discern truth from fakery that the internet may be rendered moot as a source of information. You may have a profound leadership opportunity in this, Peter. You have the moral courage, the tech skills, the writing skills, and your amazing basis n Truth to guide you in leadership.

Take heart, remain steadfast in your convictions, and know that you are Loved, with a Love that surpasses all understanding. (And I also love you, Peter, for whatever that’s worth.)

“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” - Galatians 6:9
