Peter, a lot of people (like me!) beat ourselves up over mistakes that we made on our path through life - this missive is like a call from the Universe, to stand up and take away that yoke, that burden - and take the steps needed to reach the higher ground or just to get up and to start taking steps forward again, until maybe one day one can even dance to the music of life with a heart filled with joy and not regret nor remorse - and of course to be thoughtful towards others who might be stumbling upon their own path. Thank you again for posting such a wonderful message for all who really needed to hear it during these times. Día dhuit
I am honored and touched that my words resonate so deeply with you. Such praise is always an unexpected gift (I never can tell if what I'm writing is useful or just schlock!).
I really admire, respect, and love how wise you’ve become, Peter. Your thoughts are never superficial or trite. You see that God has made us as we are - imperfect - and that we need only acknowledge and repent our sins and God will love and forgive us. You see that we need to keep that in mind, always, so that we are able to forgive others (and ourselves!) as God forgives us.
Even our efforts to forgive others frequently falls short, because we do not have the Perfection of God. We are called to make the effort; if we partially fail, God forgives us.
“Bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.” - Colossians 3:13
This is beautiful
Thanks!

I make no claim to be wise. I just speak my mind and hope that I'm speaking the truth.
You mind is beautiful!
