Good one as usual, Peter. Perhaps in a few more months you will have enough of these proverbs to publish in a book form. I for one would probably buy it! Would be nice to have a collection of all these in one place and in actual book form. I suppose I could copy them and your images into Word form, but that isn't quite the same. Think about it.

I actually have been thinking about it. For a number of years I have thought about putting something out under the title "Sinners In The Hands Of A Loving God" (the title being a direct refutation to Jonathan Edwards famous sermon from the 18th century "Sinners In The Hands Of An Angry God").

At one point I thought it would be a sermon structured very much as Jonathan Edwards assembled his. Lately I have been thinking of collating a number of these proverbs of mine into a larger work to drive home the same theme.

Now I just have to figure out which of these proverbs to include, and how much revision, if any, I should make to them! (Nothing is ever easy! ;) )

You wouldn't have to drive home the same theme. Actually I like them just as they are and on various topics. Gives a better overview of the different teachings in the Bible. Make it easy, just print them out as they are. And I would suggest just calling it "Peter's Proverbs - A View of God's / Jesus' Teachings. But your title sounds good as well. I wouldn't necessarily say an Angry God but rather a Loving God 😇

With 143 of these sermons, there might be several collections I could assemble.

Perhaps I should. When I started writing these they were more about my own introspection, my own faith journey.

God help me, they do seem to be growing beyond that. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t take just a little bit of pride in that!

“Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen.” - Matthew 28:20

So be of good cheer, follow the path of righteousness, stay close to God by staying in gratitude. I just finished two hours of shoveling snow. I could complain about it, but instead I consciously thanked God throughout the effort, being glad that my knees and back are still perfect and I can shovel snow like a teenager. Be grateful for everything, and you won’t be felled by the wickedness and despair of the world.

I am always consciously grateful for you, Peter. There are so many aspects about you that are a joy!
