I believe that in the complexity of fractals and Chaos Theory, we can see the ways that God works. There are magnitudes of order in seemingly chaotic patterns. The discord seen at one level combines in a bigger picture with other chaotic patterns to produce harmony and balance. These are clues to us that God indeed knows what He’s doing; there is a larger Plan to all He does. We need only trust this! If a seemingly unjust calamity happens to us, just trust that God is working it out for our benefit in the long run and the bigger picture. Learn the lessons He is trying to teach us, and grow in depth and wisdom. He loves us. So, trust in the Lord with all of your heart! His justice is integrated with His overall Plan, which only He can know and comprehend.
Keep in mind that you have a truly genius-level brain. There’s probably never been a genius who didn’t have serious quirks and torments, as they are part of having such a powerful mind. (And any woman in your life has to be wise enough to see this!) If you can be loving and accepting of yourself, as you ARE, that acceptance enables you to tame your ego and “let go, let God”. Intellectually, you know that God is in charge. Your growing wisdom is leading you to sense this more completely, and integrate it into your powerful ego. You’re coming along just fine, Peter - on your way to fulfilling your God-given destiny and growth of your immortal soul. Bless you!

The challenge (especially for me) is to take ego out of the equation and understand what it means for people to not be in control.
As a rule, people do not like the thought of not being in control
We do not merely want order, we want to define, manage, and regulate that order. We want rules, and we want to write the rules.
Reality is that we have order, and we have rules. We just don’t write them, define them, manage them, or regulate them.
