You have provided much food for my mind to dwell on today. Just the word-Respect-

commands attention. Thanks for the Bible words today. My application will be👇🏼

I’m still trying to wrap my head around those who protested “No Kings” ( what do they mean by that. ). I don’t watch tv for the news. So.

Smart, as always, Peter. There are devils in the details of discernment, but you’ve certainly got the right idea. In trying to discern, we must rely on prayer, and the feelings of peace in our interpretations. If we pray to God for guidance, He will help us to find the correct decisions in our paths.

Bless you today and forever, Peter.

This is perhaps less "inspired" than most of my weekly Proverbs. It is certainly more theological.

However, the tenor of much of what is taking place in this country, as well as how these events are being reported in both corporate and alternative media, demands that we be clear in our own minds about our regard for government authority.

We owe it to ourselves to be particularly mindful about how government authority is wielded at all levels. Where government authority is rightly used we should not fail to confirm it. Where government authority is wrongly abused we should not fail to condemn it.

We must therefore be clear in our own minds where the distinction between use and abuse lies, that we may stand on the proper side.

Boy, I wish all people could be as clear in their thinking as you, Peter. What a great mind you have!
