The beginning of the Book of Genesis lays out a foundational premise: God created the heavens and the earth.
Each scientific discipline individually, and all of science collectively, is irrefutable, indisputable, absolutely conclusive proof positive that the opening of the Book of Genesis is inarguably true.
Great work Pete. Built this reflection on the works of Saint Maximus the Confessor concerning man as microcosm and cosmic mediator in the Gracious Gift of our perception ⛪✨ of the logoi of creation:
.......Being, Well Being and Eternal Being. Jesus Christ our King and God has both a Divine and Human Will, that 🩸🔥🪽 makes our redemption and recreation fully both real and complete, InCarne!
Definitely yes. I think many atheists have a problem with the existence of God because of how they conceptualize Him. If they think He’s a little old man with a long beard, wearing an archaic robe, sure, it’s hard to believe that. But if you conceptualize God as a Field of infinite potential, of Universal Consciousness, of Pure Love, of the Life Force, of all Creativity, then you’re getting closer to the idea of God. But how can I conceptualize all that, they ask? You can’t. The fullness of all that God is, has, and does is beyond our ability to visualize or intellectually grasp. This is why Jesus spoke in parables and simple concepts. We must just have faith that once our spirits have left our mortal bodies, we will “experience” God’s magnificence. It can’t be put into human words; that would be too simplistic. BELIEVE that you will be reunited with all that God Is, and you will be! The sacrifice that Jesus made assures us it will be so.
All of humanity exists within this universe. Definitionally, our lives are bounded by time and space. We are not just creatures of flesh and blood, we are also creatures of dimension.
Dimension makes us finite.
God necessarily is infinite. He is without dimension, and is unbounded by time and space. He must be, for to have created the heavens and the earth He necessarily exists outside the heavens and the earth. He necessarily is not bounded by time or space.
We can no more conceive of existence unbounded by time and space than a blind man can conceive of color. That requires a context, a facility, which we do not have.
We are able through both faith and science to know that God exists. We are able to know He is our Creator, and we are His blessed Children.
We are not able to comprehend God. Something I have reminded atheists many times when they seek to debate me about God: whatever definition you apply to God is definitionally not God.

Bless you always, dear Peter!

Perfectly stated, Magnificent Man. Your eloquence and clarity of thought are truly wonderful!
